Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

What you’ll need:
Boxed cake mix
Ice-cream cones
Pastry tip
Premade frosting
Toppings of choice (such as sprinkles)

What you’ll do:
| 1 | Preheat the oven to 350°F. | 2 | Use boxed cake batter and follow the directions. | 3 | Spoon 3 tablespoons of batter into each ice-cream cone (you can find the colorful cones at your local grocery store). Darling Décor: DIY Ice-Cream Cone Bunting

What you’ll need:
Burlap banner (or pieces of burlap and twine)
Scrapbook paper
Scissors
Hot-glue gun

What you’ll do:
| 1 | An ice-cream party isn’t complete without sweet décor. To make the ice-cream-cone bunting, start with a burlap banner (or cut out burlap triangles and attach them to a piece of twine). | 2 | Using colorful, patterned scrapbook paper, cut out ice-cream scoop shapes (see the example in the photo). Hot-glue the scoops to the tops of the burlap triangles—the bigger they are, the more impact they’ll have on the overall look. Hang the bunting when finished.
